Express Loco*

A standard type of service which implies the collection, sorting, transport and delivery of envelopes (max 500 grams) and parcels (max 10 kg and 15x25x35 cm) in the same city, in a maximum term of 1h, 2h, 4h and 6h, using a road transport solution. * The Express Loco service is not an "express" type of service, as it is defined and regulated by law.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • The service allows transports of envelopes and parcels with weights up to 10 kg and small dimensions (15 x 25 x 35 cm);
  • There will be two delivery attempts; non-delivered dispatches (example: receipt refusal by receiver, wrong address etc.) will be returned to the sender in maximum 7 days;
  • The maximum waiting time for pick-up or delivery cannot exceed 10 minutes;
  • The waiting time represents the maximum stopping time dedicated by the courier for pick-up or delivery of dispatch, calculated from the moment when the courier arrived at the sender/receiver;
  • In case of lack of delivery in the hour term related to the contracted service, the dispatch will be delivered according to the Standard service;
  • The delivery certification can be made by phone, email or tracking the AWB number on www.fancourier.ro;
  • The payment at destination for dispatches is possible;
  • The phone contact of the receiver, for deliveries under special circumstances.

COVERAGE

  1. In Bucharest and Ilfov in the 1h, 2h, 4h or 6h versions, as follows:
  • Express Loco 1h and Express Loco 2h: are available for pick-up and delivery addresses only from Bucharest, within the same subarea, so:
    • pick-up from subarea 1 with delivery in subarea 1
    • pick-up from subarea 2 with delivery in subarea 2
    • pick-up from subarea 3 with delivery in subarea 3
    • pick-up from subarea 4 with delivery in subarea 4
    • pick-up from subarea 5 with delivery in subarea 5

SCHEDULE: The maximum registration hour for an order in FAN Courier call-center for delivery in the same day is 16:00. The delivery is made in maximum 1h, respectively 2h from the registration of an order by the dispatcher.

  • Express Loco 4h: is available for pick-up and delivery addresses only from Bucharest, as follows:
    • Pick-up from subarea 1 with delivery in subarea 2, 3, 4 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 2 with delivery in subarea 1, 3, 4 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 3 with delivery in subarea 1, 2, 4 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 4 with delivery in subarea 1, 2, 3 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 5 with delivery in subarea 1, 2, 3 or 4

SCHEDULE: The maximum registration hour of an order in the FAN Courier call-center for delivery in the same day is 15:30 for Express Loco 4h. The delivery is made in maximum 4 hours from the registration of the order by the dispatcher.During 15:30-16:00, the available service will only be Express Loco 2h, after 16:00 being possible to direct towards another FAN Courier service, such as: Red CodeStandard.

  • Express Loco 6h: is available for pick-up and delivery addresses from Bucharest and Ilfov (localities near the beltway), as follows:
    • Pick-up from subarea 1 with delivery in subarea 2, 3, 4 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 2 with delivery in subarea 1, 3, 4 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 3 with delivery in subarea 1, 2, 4 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 4 with delivery in subarea 1, 2, 3 or 5
    • Pick-up from subarea 5 with delivery in subarea 1, 2, 3 or 4

SCHEDULE:The maximum registration hour of an order in the FAN Courier call-center for delivery in the same day is 12:30 for Express Loco 6h. The delivery is made in maximum 6 hours from the registration of an order by the dispatcher. During 12:30-16:00, the available service will be only Express Loco 4h or Express Loco 2h, after 16:00 there is the possibility to direct towards another FAN Courier service such as: Red CodeStandard.

  • Otopeni, Chitila, Tunari, Mogoșoaia, Ștefăneștii de Jos, Voluntari, Dobroiești – Fundeni, Pantelimon, Manolache, Popești-Leordeni, Glina, Jilava, Măgurele, Bragadiru (only the town, without near villages), Domnești, Chiajna – Roșu – Dudu, Cățelu.
  • Attention! Afumați, Ostratu, Dimieni, Snagov, Buftea, Corbeanca, Brănești, Cernica, Căldararu, Bălăceanca, Pasărea, Cozieni, Moara Domnească, Găneasa, Berceni, Dragomirești Deal, Dragomirești Vale, Domneștii de Jos, Olteni, Vârteju, Ciorogârla și Alunișu, are not covered by the Express Loco service.

In case of non-performance of the provisions which are additional characteristics, only the tariff cashed additionally from the tariff applicable for the Standard service will be returned, in the following cases:

  • Lack of delivery in the term related to the contracted service.
  • Force majeur cases or cases which exclude FAN Courier.

In case of non-performance of the provisions which constitute additional characteristics, the tariff cashed additionally from the tariff applicable for the Standard service will not be returned, in the following cases:

  • Receipt refusal
  • Wrong address
  • Lack of receiver

FAN Courier reserves the right not to insure this delivery service in the average term of 1h, 2h, 4h or 6h, with the obligation to inform the customers about this fact before picking up the order, under the following conditions:

  • Unfavourable weather conditions independent of the company’s will (fog, heavy snow, snow blocks, heavy rains, floods, yellow/orange/red code, frost, closed/non-operable roads etc.);
  • Large number of registered and in operation orders;
  • Large volume of orders in relation to the existent logistic facility under special conditions or crowded year periods (Christmas, Black Friday, Easter, March 1st and 8th etc.);
  • AWB is not generated from the SelfAWB app.
Attention! The customer’s approval at order pick-up by FAN Courier under the previously specified conditions equals with its acceptance of the non-execution risk in the average term of 1h, 2h, 4h or 6h.
