FAN Courier is NOT closing its network locations and clarifies the misleading information circulated publicly regarding customer reception points

Bucharest, April 14th, 2026

Following the publication of several media articles that inaccurately portray FAN Courier’s activity, we would like to provide a number of clarifications.

Claims stating that “FAN Courier has closed all of its agencies across the country” or that “no location is available anymore” are false and misleading, creating confusion in the public space. FAN Courier has not closed its agencies, but only a number of customer access points used for parcel pick-up from our locations – specifically those that no longer recorded a sustainable level of activity. The company’s hubs and operational locations continue to function and are undergoing a constant process of development and modernization.

FAN Courier is accelerating investments in new technologies, the expansion of its locker network, and digitalization. Customers already benefit from modern solutions, such as redirecting parcels directly from the mobile app to a locker near their home or workplace, making the delivery process simpler and more flexible. In this way, we respond to customers’ growing need for greater control over their shipments, while also honoring our commitment to continuously optimize both processes and operational costs.

Customers’ preference for proximity delivery, rather than traveling to FAN Courier locations – which are often situated on the outskirts of cities or in industrial areas – has been one of the key factors behind this efficiency-driven process.

FAN Courier operated more than 140 reception points nationwide, and the targeted closure of certain locations, especially those managed by partners, was driven by declining volumes amid the shift toward modern solutions such as home delivery, lockers (FANbox), and partner pick-up points (Collect Point), all appreciated for their proximity and flexibility.

Delivery and pick-up operations continue under normal conditions, and parcel collection from depots remains available in situations where home delivery could not be completed.

We encourage the public to rely on official sources of information and reaffirm FAN Courier’s commitment to providing efficient services adapted to customers’ current needs.
