International Tournament of Basketball in Wheelchair “Maria”, (ITBW “Maria”) has reached this year the 15th edition and will take place between August 23 and August 25, 2019, in Oradea.
ITBW “Maria” offered by FAN Courier is the most important basketball event in wheelchair from Romania. The event promotes the adapted sport for people with locomotor disabilities and it has become, over time, an international tournament that enjoys the appreciation of an increasingly large audience.
The 15th edition of the International Tournament of Basketball in Wheelchair “Maria” will take place under the motto “100% basket”.
At the start of the competition the following teams will line up: ASP Oradea (Romania), SGK Rolling Chocolate Heidelberg (Germania), Dunav Apatin (Serbia) si MERCATOR Ljubljana (Slovenia). The matches within the basketball tournament will be played on Saturday, August 24, in the Sports Games Room of the University of Oradea.
TVR Cluj and TVR 3 it will ensure the live broadcast of a basketball match, which the host team will play within ITBW “Maria”.
ITBW “Maria” is a new promotion of the potential that Romania has in support of international adapted sports events, and FAN Courier has been a proud supporter for 10 years of the adapted basketball and wheelchair basketball team.
